The default positions for your program windows correspond to your keyboard’s numeric pad, and indeed positioning is done either by choosing the respective short cuts (CTRL-ALT + NumPad) or by right clicking on the program’s icon in the system tray, evoking a virtual numeric pad like control and choosing the wanted position with your mouse. Notebook owners will welcome the latter method as still not all notebooks indulge with a useable numeric pad.
When I first found the program, honestly, I didn’t know what to do with it as I felt quite capable of arranging my windows to my liking, but after using it now for almost one year I can tell you, you won’t know what you miss until you use it for yourself.
