CD/DVD Burning Software

A somewhat secure way of entering the valley of tears is the attempt to copy your data onto a so called ‘optical drive’. Called ‘optical’ as the data are ‘burned’ by means of a ‘laser’ on a CD, DVD (and a BluRay disk). What looked so promising in offering ample storage room for data, backup, data exchange at a very reasonable price, what for a few moments let us dream of creating security copies of our audio and video CD/DVDs, soon turns into a possible nightmare. There are CD/DVD formats galore, and their number is equalled or even surpassed by the number of different hardware drives. Very easily you will find yourself starting a new carrier in creating CD, DVDs, BluRay etc

Beware: generally speaking, creating such an optical disk is a very simple matter. You choose your data, decide if you’re going for an audio or video disk, or a plain data disk, and the procedure will be much the same as copying data with the sole difference of taking a bit – or much – longer. And in most cases you will encounter no problems.

For such a happy arrangement we present you here two pieces of fine software, both freeware of course that will help you getting the job done ‘swiftly and with style!’
